Now it’s time for you to select your Prayer Buddy. A Prayer Buddy of your choosing is required for every mentor of Kidz Connected. Prayer Buddies pray for the mentor, the student, the school, your mentoring sessions, and everything else you can think of. This person should be a believer in Christ with whom you have a good and trusting relationship.

 

It is important to keep your Prayer Buddy informed about you and the student.

• Let them know when you are going to meet with the student

• Let them know after your session how things went

 

However, there are things the Prayer Buddy should NOT know:

• Do not share identifiable information, such as:

  1. The student’s last name

  2. The student’s contact information

  3. The student’s parent’s names

  4. Any identifiable family information or conversations you may have with the student

 

God knows all the details about you, your student, the schools, and more. Your Prayer Buddy doesn’t need all the detailed information to pray. Use conservative discretion when sharing with your Prayer Buddy.
